Serissa- Pink Mountain

Serissa - Pink Mountain-2009 Same Serissa-2009-Different Angle Serissa-in2006-about 2 yrs old

I love my Serissas. Most of them grow like weeds. Cuttings that fall to the ground or in a pot often root as they lay on the ground.

The flowers on pink mountain change color from white in hot summer weather to pink/purple as the weather starts to turn cool.

I live in Mobile, Alabama and even have some serissas planted in my flower beds where they survive the coldest of our winter days.

In the photos you can see what a two year old rooting looks like. In only several years you can have a nice looking bonsai.

More Serissa photos can be seen at: http://www.bnjl.com/BonsaiPages/Serissa.htm

Some other serissas are seen in the background of the above photos.

My pink mountain is about 18" tall and the trunk is about 3/8" diameter.
