Tamarind Bonsai

Tamarind Bonsai

Several people have asked me about the tamarind bonsai on my home page. This Tamarindus indica was a favorite of mine for many years. During that time, I was in the bonsai business with a retail location (The Bonsai Bench) and five acres of growing and wholesale.

Every year one of our best customers asked me if he could buy that bonsai. One particularly hectic year, I said yes! I got a good price, but he got a good tree!

By the way you may have also seen a similar photo on the cover of one of the World Tropical Bonsai Forum magazines. (Carlos Rojas - photographer)
