North Carolina Arboretum

by Ken
(Columbus, Oh)

The bonsai featured by the North Carolina Arboretum, Ashville, NC have a regional flavor.

But the Exhibit area, which was completed about 4 years ago, creates a wonderful stage for this impressive bonsai collection of over 100 trees. They host an annual show in October. (Just about the time the leaves are turning!)

Ken didn't send any photos, so Ive included a few. By seeing just a few bonsai pictures, you don't get the full impact of the garden. This is another do-not-miss place to visit.
