A BIRTHDAY PLANTING! Portulacaria afra 02

Two years ago, while I was heavily pruning my Portulacaria afra, 01 on my birthday 08/08/08, I decided to take one of the larger cuttings and plant it, so that I could call it my Birthday Plant.

As it turned out, it wanted to develop into a semi-cascade. One of my art students gave me the pot and to show her that I appreciated the pot I transferred it last year.

The plant is 3" tall and 7" over all to the very tip of the single leaf at the end of the cascade. The pot is 4.5" x 4.5 x 4"
